A beginning…

Ok. Here’s the deal.

I don’t have time to be doing this but I hope by taking the plunge and putting these thoughts on “paper” I’ll free up brain power for the stuff I’m supposed to be doing…like homework, practicing, laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning, spending quality time with the kids, blah blah blah…

No illusions of grandeur here. I don’t actually expect to change anyone’s mind about anything or “move the needle” in any political or social debate. I haven’t been able to do that in person with people I know and care about, why would complete strangers around the world be any different?

I expect topics will run the gamut from music to religion to politics and some places I can’t imagine yet. You can expect my opinions to be strong. Lately it seems like everyone else gets to state their opinion. This place is my turn.
