Methodist Court Removes Openly Lesbian Minister – New York Times
While both of these decisions grieve my heart, I’m most worried about the membership decision. This flies directly in the face of the argument that says “We’ll welcome them into the church, just not the pulpit.”
You know that there are Lutheran pastors out there that, while maybe not officially denying membership, do their best to discourage it.
It’s just so sad and wrong.
