So JE has accused me of isolating myself. KO has made the same sorts of accusations. I honestly don’t feel like I’m hiding from people. But it also doesn’t feel like they are reaching out to me either.
whine, whine, whine.
So I’m getting a new garage door tomorrow ($1000, thank you very much.) Seems like a reasonable excuse to have people over for drinks. The invitation said “regrets only.” JVH and DG have said they probably won’t be able to come. No word from anyone else.
Time will tell.
Of course, now I have to clean…to at least ‘candle’ clean…and stock up on party food.
Just the thing you want to do when you’re fighting the downhill slope toward mid-winter.
I suppose the best thing would be to go home from work, for starters…
