- I remember where I was when I heard the news (oh boy).
- I remember feeling disbelief.
- I remember Lauren putting a black scarf over his stereo light as he listened to the 24 hour tribute to John on KQ.
- I remember thinking “now I’ll never get to meet him” and what a strange thought that was, as if I ever was going to meet him. (I thought the same thing when I heard Linda McCartney had died.)
- I remember learning how, when I learned how to make bread from scratch, that John used to do that.
- I remember thinking how much the world lost when John went home that night with so much left to do.
