Busy day; enjoyable but exhausted

Today was lessons & carols. all went very well. One funny thing: 10:30 service, I turn to invite the congregation to stand to sing the 3rd stanza of “Comfort, Comfort, ye my People” and not one person stood up. what a place.

high-tailed it from ham lake to seminary (by way of the house to pick up my accordion). Met up with YM around 12:30. The Advent project started at 3:00. She did a very nice job. It was good to be there to support her and the rest of them too! and fun to play; something I didn’t get to do for PW after the audition.

Z&A came over for dinner afterward and Z put the door on the medicine cabinet. He thinks that the reason I was having so much trouble with it was that the screws they sent with the cabinet were crap.

It is so nice to have mirror in the bathroom again! and it is lovely to be able to put things in the medicine cabinet and not have them on display. It’s good to have friends that will come over and do this sort of thing.

Then, as is our habit, we sat around and talked shop for an hour or so after dinner. It was very nice.
