Happy-hour invite
Well, I suppose both JE and PP have mentioned to NJ that I think she’s avoiding me because yesterday she asked if “we” (JE and I) wanted to meet for a drink after work on Friday. I don’t really care why the invitation has appeared out of nowhere. I’m glad it came. I said yes. 4:00 will be just fine. We’ll meet at “Jake’s Main Event”….or whatever it’s called.
I’m only a little suspicious that it’s a set-up or something, but I’m trying to keep that little voice tied and taped in the back room of my mind.
