Prayer for the woman who called
Good and gracious God,
She wouldn’t tell me her name but you know who she is. She sounds distressed. Be with her in her distress. Comfort her. She wanted to be assured that Pastor Jeff’s leaving didn’t have anything to do with children. Calm her fears and worries about her children. It sounded like she was lonely and looking for comfort. Let her know that we are here for just that reason; not to judge but to support and help. She wants prayers for healing. Heal her, O Lord. I don’t know if her pain is physical or emotional or spiritual, but you can sending healing for all three. Help her discern a path through whatever she is facing and if it is possible for us to help her, strengthen us to do be the help she needs. Guide us and strengthen us to be your hands and feet and heart in this world.
