walking cast blues
sleeping in a walking cast is not as easy or comfortable as it sounds. First, you have to figure out a way not to put all that salt, dirt, mud, etc on the thing into your bed! I’m using a pillowcase. Then, you have to get it in there before you pull up the nice and cozy, but rather sticky flannel sheets. Then you have wake completely every time you want to change positions.
After night 2 I feel like I got a little better sleep, but there was still a point where I just took the damn thing off for a couple hours.
This is going to be a loooooong 6 weeks.

I am in the finish of my third week in a walking cast for a broken metarsal (5th) break…..does anyone know how long the physical therapy can be afterwards?
