with a little help from my friends

I don’t care what people say…these young whipper-snappers got it going on!

So I’m playing phone tag with my friend SH yesterday and he says two things that
rocked me back:
1. Well, I’m at the driving range, so give me a call mid-swing.
2. I only work as much as I have to.

whaaaa??
The middle of the week, the middle of the day and this guy is at the DRIVING RANGE?
And Not Appologizing For It!
Hear me: He was NOT APPOLOGIZING FOR IT.

And then, then he has the
HEALTH
to say he doesn’t obsess about work.

Amazing.
An Inspiration. to me anyway.

Now in the spirit of “having compassion on myself” let me say that he is

  • single
  • no kids
  • renter

So he doesn’t have the 2nd FT+ job(s) I have of:

  • divorcing
  • 2 kids
  • house owner

But let me be clear.

I was taught a lesson.

Let’s see if I can learn from it.
