This is a long post but worthwhile, I think. I’m not exactly clear on the how you’d classify the writer’s POV. Claims to be “evangelical” but comes off firmly on the side of historic liturgy which leads me to believe he’s either Lutheran, Catholic, or Church of England (it is a UK blog.) Given the geography, I’m guessing Luthean or CoE.
What he says about public language is brilliant and said in a way I think most average pew-sitters would “get “( although I’m continually surprised by that.)
