PrSR & NR’s House Blessing
Just got back from the house blessing for the R’s. What a fun party. I didn’t stay til the end because of all the things going around in my head.
1. I was remembering our house blessing for this house 7 years ago. DS1 would have been 8 and DS2 was 5 1/2. Now they’re 15 and 12 1/2.
2. I was wondering where M&N were and why X didn’t come.
3. I was looking forward to vespers tonight…but also knowing that I have about 15 minutes in the living room and 15 minutes in the kitchen before my house is company ready.
4. I want to make a shortcake to go with the fresh STRAWBERRIES we picked yesterday.
Despite the horribleness of the divorce, I am able to enjoy the present moments that are good. And I hear the message that “it will be Ok” in some of the strangest places.
