The vet called this morning. It seems the big icky oozing bump on Libby’s neck was not a mucocele (blocked salivary gland). It was indeed an infection/abcess.
The good news is that the antibiotic should knock it out and it won’t require surgery.
It is getting better (smaller) everyday. It seemed a little scabbed over this morning, [...]
