National Night Out - for a soaking!
Not that I managed to organize any great plans but…
After 101 degrees (110 heat index) for the last couple of days, the weather has blessedly changed. It only hit 74/75 degrees today and has rained off and on the whole day.
Right now, at 7:04 pm it is pouring rain in Minneapolis…at least my little corner of it.
Green things are beginning to be green again! Leaves are un-curling. The backyard is like April, I can actually watch it turn green.
It smells wonderful. Clean and full of life.
Turn off your air conditioners friends and open the windows and doors and let in the fresh clean rain washed air!!!
We can’t party together but at least we can enjoy this bounty together, alone in our homes.
