bloglines and RSS/Atom Feeds
I’m probably a little more than a geek than I should be and a little less of one than I want to be.
Bloglines looks pretty easy to use. I’ve transfered most of my bookmarked blogs to My Feeds. We’ll see how it goes over the next couple of days.
The one thing I can’t figure out is how to put the little xml button on my sidebar. Have to say Blogger Help isn’t very…but that’s just from an former instructional designer.

Speaking of instructional design…”the project” drags on. I probably should put in an hour or so today.
It seems that mostly I just want to be in vacation mode.
My inner brat is acting up. There’s a ton of stuff I need to motivate the boys to do before they leave for a week of camp tomorrow. But it is a sad fact of parenthood that you cannot motivate your children to do that which you are not motivated to do. Disappointing, I know. But true.
KO had a kick yesterday laughing at me trying to be all mentor/mentee when really I just feel like taking a break. Finally he did say that if what I really wanted to do is be on vacation I should just do it. He’s not worried that I’m going to fall into some “let’s not work or be productive mode” for an extended period of time. And that really, given the year I’ve had, a couple of weeks of being a slough-off would probably be a healthy thing.
Ok, really I said that.
