CPE Learnings Part 1
Ok. Here’s what I know so far. Or at least some of what I’ve learned so far.
I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck. I must be sitting with my muscles all tensed up because, honestly, all we’ve done for 10 days is sit in the chairs while people, with the best intent, inundate us with too much detailed information. Mentally exhausting, I expected that. This physical exhaustion is beyond what I prepared for.
Also, I am currently vacilating between feeling like this is all going to be manageable in bite size chunks from moment to moment to feeling like there is no way I’m going to last an hour. Mr. Therapist this morning said “Welcome to pastoral care.” Thanks.
