I can’t begin to describe how much my upper back hurts. I have scheduled a massage therapist appointment for tomorrow evening. I think this qualifies as “self care.” Although, if this doesn’t ease up, it won’t exactly be “proactive” self care. By the end of the 3rd choir rehearsal I could barely move. My left leg is cramping and my foot is sore, so I’m pretty sure I’m not standing evenly when I’m directing…or sitting either.
Good rehearsals though. 15 in 4-6th grade choir and I think there were 12 at the 7-12th grade choir. The younger choir rehearsal needs at least one more activity for it. The highschool rehearsal is only 30 minutes, so I’ll have to be super-organized and efficient. REALLY nice kids.
It was another 11 1/2 hour day, so I’m going to take some ibuprofen and try to sleep.
peace, y’all.

I loved choir when I was in school. It was one of my favorite classes. The only thing I didn’t like about it was try-outs. It was hard reading some of that sheet music.
