walking
It was cold and damp and grey. What a contrast from last week! Libby and I took about 50 minutes to round the golf course today. Mostly because someone had to smell every single tree and lamp post. Still, that’s about 4 miles. All the extra walking for CPE along with being too busy to eat lunch (and sometimes even dinner) is starting to pay off.
Yes, that’s right friends. The new jeans I bought already don’t fit. Seems after months of the scale staying the same, I suddenly have lost 10 pounds. No wonder everything else is hanging funny. I went out to get a pair of pants for work and had to buy a size smaller!
Wonder if I can keep this going for another 25-30 more pounds? Of course, I wouldn’t want to lose all my curvaceousness.
My mom goes in tomorrow morning for knee replacement surgery. My sister will stay with her after discharge (which won’t be until the end of the week) but between that and meetings etc., I don’t know how much I’ll be posting this week.
Hope you all have a wonderful week.

Gosh, I wish I could lose some weight. I need to lose about 50 pounds. I am really tall, so you can’t tell. But the scale doesn’t lie. If you were to put my weight on someone who was 5′6″ or 5′7″, they would probably be obese. Anyway, my thoughts will be with you this week as you face a stressful time. Work and more work. Gotta love it. Hope your mom does okay with surgery.
