Shoulder pain mysteriously disappears
I suspect my shoulder pain had something more than carrying around a few books at it’s root. Because sometime around Monday afternoon I realized “it doesn’t hurt anymore!”
Somehow, I think it was also related to a blockage in the area of my 1st chakra, that was addressed Saturday night.
It is amazing to me how the body can give you signals but that you can miss them or misunderstand them. While I think the shoulder did have something to do with poor body-mechanics regarding carrying things too much in my left arm, it seems that it also had something to do with not having been touched or held or caressed for so long.
It was pain from holding a defensive posture somehow too, that was poised and ready to shield me from hurt and give the appearance of strength. An “I don’t need anybody, I can take care of all of this by myself” sort of posture. A posture I had to adopt to get through the last two years and one that I thought was mental only, but clearly had some physical manisfestations.
So, that’s another bit of self-knowledge to file away…
