golf party

It was a smaller party than I expected. But I enjoyed myself quite a lot. For most of the time the teacher’s wife and I were the only women there. Only one other wife showed up. About half the guys are older, late 50’s early 60’s and then a bunch are in thier 40’s and a couple looked slightly younger than that. One guy brought his kids.

All very nice guys. Great conversations. They know that I’m hoping to take lessons this winter and they were very encouraging about that and me “joining our little group.” Lots of putting and looking at golf pictures and stuff. Lots of drinking. Teacher’s wife is also a “tequila whore” so we had a good time.

Home, alone by 9:00.

SaxMan was worried about his daughter being home alone with her boyfriend. He recently found out that they are probably sexually active and I get the feeling that as much as he’d like to be the cool dad and be ok with that, he’s finding out that his gut is not letting him feel that way. He walked me out to my car and kissed me goodnight and we went our separate ways.

Got home to a lovely (mostly) cleaned house and pretty much went to bed.
