Does it seem to anyone else that Mr Potter in “It’s a Wonderful Life” has actually won? That the predominant attitudes nowadays are the ones espoused by that character?

This movie is an example of how each person, each business can have an impact on the overall justice of a society. But it seems the pendulum has swung towards the Potters of society.

Is it because those of us who are the George Bailey’s aren’t willing to pay the price as George did?
