I’ve decided to move my blog. I will continue to post here until the migration is finished.
I’m in the process of manually copying over posts and comments starting with the oldest posts first.
I’m not editing anything except taking out identifying names. I just began to realize as I read this site, with my name, email and other identifiers so easily found, that if anyone wanted to cause trouble for me at work they could easily do so with this blog.
It’s important for me that I can be my whole self here and the reality is that there are still plenty of people who think that if you work in the church you need to not have certain basic human capacities. Such as the capacity to swear like a sailor.
The other reason I’m switching is that blogger-beta-google-mania is really starting to bug me.

Feel free to browse through some of the older posts and leave comments if you want. I’ve found it interesting to see how much I’ve grown, how much things are the same and how this blog has changed over the 2+ years I’ve been writing it.
Despite everything that has happened during this time period, I have come to realize that I truly am not faint hearted.
