Happy Solstice
It only gets brighter from here on.
I was so physically and emotionally tired today that I’ve burst into tears for the smallest reasons. For instance, bumping into Z&A and Target.
So tired that my muscles were twitching and weak like they were filled with lactic acid.
I used the marathon metaphor several times today. I think it works. I’ve hit the wall. Crying, shaking, not sure if I can make it to the finish line. It may not look like I’m running, but one foot keeps going in front of the other.
As I’m transferring posts to the new site, (I’m currently up to last December) I find that this cycle of overwork, exhaustion, and recovery is how my life has been going. Probably forever.
At this age, my desire is to find a way to smooth out the rollercoaster effect just a little.
Going to bed. One more shift of CPE, then a meeting with LN about the contract work, then finish the Christmas Shopping, grocery shopping and maybe start packing. Then to Z&A’s to start the drinking.
(Did anyone enjoy the concert yesterday?)
