The world is completely insane
Art Buchwald died yesterday.
He gets to introduce his own obituary for the NY Times here.
It’s a wonderful way to remember someone’s lifework. In addition to planning my own funeral, I’d like to do something like this.
If Buchwald’s reason for existence was to make people laugh (as he asserts) (and I suppose his purpose was much more) I hope that him finishing his journey here doesn’t mean that the world is less funny, or that we don’t continue to see how funny and insane it is.
