photos from Phoenix and the Grand Canyon
Lots of pictures taken from the car by whomever was riding shotgun. Most of them are on Flickr, but I’ll post a few here for fun. Haven’t gotten the film (and disk) back yet. 
There was a fire outside of Flagstaff on the way north. 
The rooms were “cozy” but comfortable. I would totally stay there again.
There were cute boys at the edge of the big hole in the desert.
And we saw condors during our hike on Friday. 
The retreat center was beautiful. Landscaped like an oasis. The desert surroundings made some of the psalms and stories of 1st century palestine have deeper meaning. I’ve heard that from people who have traveled to the Holy Land. I don’t know if I’ll get there, so I’ll take this.

I LOVE FLAGSTAFF!! My paternal grandparents lived there (grandma still does) I love Arizona. Havent been back for a long time. Glad you are having a good time!
