Happy Mother’s Day!
I had a wonderful morning at church. My choir sang “E’en So, Lord Jesus, Quickly Come” by Paul Manz. They did a wonderful job and even kept the pitch from dropping more than a 1/4 step or so. (We’ve struggled with this) and I was liturgist.
Came home, changed the oil in the mower and the boys are mowing the lawn. I had some leftover Vietnamese food for lunch and I’m going to take a quick (and all too short) nap before running off to rehearsal/costume fitting. Then to my mom’s (by 4:00? Ha!) for dinner.
Not very relaxing but that’s the Mother’s Day of a working “in between” generation woman.
