Tales from the scales

-0

+0, so I guess that’s the good news.

But for a week where I found too many days I didn’t have time to eat (sort of like last fall with CPE) I’m a little disappointed that it hasn’t resulted in any actual loss.

I know. I know. I have to eat enough to keep metabolism going and if I were walking (like I did last fall with CPE) then it would help.

And if I was actually getting that water drunk instead of just carrying it around all day.

Still, I’m eating healthier and that will count for something.

So it’s a new day and a new chance to start over. One day at a time. It’s all I can do.

Today will include a round of golf with Brother JK and a middle school band concert. Not to mention other sordid and adventurous times, I’m sure. For instance, when am I going to have time to figure out this medley for AYLI before rehearsal tonight and at the same time write a resume for a Friday deadline? The mysteries never cease.

Hang in there, you can do this.

When it comes to living a healthy life the worst you can do is give up. No one expect perfection, it’s just annoying. It’s nice to know your human too.
(Come to think of it though, blogging with aliens would actually be kindof cool. :>)

If only eating chocolate every couple hours kept the metabolism going high enough! Sigh.

Actually, when you don’t eat at all, the body goes into starvation mode and to protect itself will actually pack on extra fat cells! The human body is a marvelous, mysterious thing! ;-) All any of us can do is one day at a time. We’re here pulling for you.
