Ulli
Ulli is a massage therapist. I met her today. She knows Swedish massage and deep tissue massage and how to loosen fascia.
I could hardly talk after an hour with her. They laughed at me at the front desk as I tried to figure out some math.
We laughed about how tight my muscles were. All of them. Even the ones by my ears.
I’ll be seeing Ulli again on June 13.

Oh, sister. That’s so awesome. There was this therapist I saw for a while who I always paid right away, because afterward I was stumbling around like drunkard and completely unable to figure out how much money to give her.
Awesome, awesome.

I am so jealous right now. I wish I had my own Ulli.

abbagirl and churlita, Say the word about when you’re coming up here and I will make the appointments!
Rich, I am totally paying up front next time. I had a gift certificate and the ‘problem’ of figuring out a tip was almost more than I could solve.

I had a massage once, it was supposed to be a “swedish massage”, gentle, but I think I got a “deep tissue”. I was in a horrible amount of pain afterwards. My then boyfriend had to slather my back with “Icy Hot”. I think I’ll stick to gentle non-professionals, cause this lady was cleary deaf to my request to be gentler, and on a mission to untie 20 year old knots in a half-hour.
