I’m missing rehearsal
because whatever this is that I’ve had all weekend made me pull over to actually throw-up on the way to rehearsal. So, not being a complete martyr (can’t be perfect at anything 
) I turned around and went home and called the director and told her I wouldn’t be coming.
My mom just called to tell me my younger brother is being transported down to the UofM hospital with 3 blood clots in his leg. He was diagnosed with diabetes a couple of years ago. Smokes like a chimney. Has struggled with weight for years. She said they’ll possibly do surgery or implant a filter to keep the clots from getting to his heart or brain.
I didn’t have many blood clot patients last fall. Mostly the patients who had clot problems were on my unit for other issues and clots were by-products. No matter what, it was a serious complication.

Eeek! I’m sorry to hear you are sick and about your brother! That’s very scary about the blood clots, I hope he pulls through .ok.
