Hot as…

…an accordion player doing Shakespeare in the Park.

A few more garden pics for Monday. Yes, those are weeds. These pics are a few weeks old. You should see the size of them now! The show went well this weekend. The weather was oppressive and audiences were small. Yesterdays’ heat index was in the upper 90’s (if it didn’t go above 100.) We started with only about 30 people and ended with a bout 15…all of whom were there for specific cast members.

This week is crunch time for LN’s projects. Not to mention crunch time for getting resumes out. Not to mention 4 shows (Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun.) I’ve committed to having the cast over after Saturday night’s show so the house HAS to get whipped into shape. Somehow. (O, Mr. Clean, please come to my house with your cleaning elves and perform a miracle!)

I’m going to try to squeeze some “self-care” into the mix. A little golf, a bike ride with DS2, a massage (hopefully!) and another match.com adventure on Thursday for a little humor. (A different guy don’t worry! last week’s specimen is blocked. I am getting good mileage on the story, though.) I continue on the match.com road to hell just for the stories at this point. This is that last one. I’ve cancelled my membership and taken down my profile. Next week I start moving stuff out of the dining room and prepping it for painting.

A year ago on This Journey it was World Cup time and I shared this clip.
