Chelan, WA
I’ve scanned in some pictures from previous trips to Holden to keep you company while I’m gone.
Chelan is a little resort town at the south-eastern tip of Lake Chelan on the eastern slope of the Cascade Mountains. Our vacation starts here with a night at the Field’s Point bed and breakfast on Sunday night. Field’s point is the last “civilized” stop on the ferry route up the lake until you get to Stehekin (which is a littler town only accessible by ferry). Field’s Point is near 25 Mile Creek which is as far as the roads go. Which is why you have to take the 4 hour ferry ride up lake.
A year ago on This Journey work was getting more surreal and the IRS was unfathomable.

No current fires in that area presently, but you should be advised that it is a high fire area every year. We’ve just gotten some rain all across the state, hopefully it won’t bring too much lightening with it. Have fun!
