back in the saddle again

well. Almost.

I had another power problem with my laptop, so today was a lot of hurry up and wait. Hurry up and get to church to find my office covered in dust from a cabinet repair project. Hurry up and wait at the Apple Genius bar. Hurry up and wait for a tension headache to go away.

On the other hand I had plenty of time to muse over the weekend and the time spent with Mr. Hockey and where that might be going. Apparently, it might be going somewhere!

Which is all fine and dandy, if not a little ironic; ironic that I was really pretty much ready to take a break from the whole idea. And a little scary; for a lot of reasons but really scary because I caught myself about three times about to call him McKilt.

Uh. Yeah. Not good. In any sense of the idea.

More fun tomorrow with staff meetings, agitation preparation meetings, LN meetings and all. Plus I’d like to get a couple of contractors schedule to come out to do estimates for 1) tub resurfacing, 2) porch window replacement and 3) exterior painting to see which one I’ll have done this fall.  I’ve pretty much decided I need to bite the bullet and just do the interior painting myself. dammit.

Oh. And YM told me tonight what I’ve suspected for about a month now. She’s considering moving. Sounds like a good deal to me. Same price as I’m charging but only 4 blocks from the church where she works and that would save her like 3 hours a day of bus riding (she has to take 2 buses each way from here) and that’s a lot when you’re talking quality of life.

I’ll be sad to see her go in some ways. But in others, it will be nice to have the option of having company stay over……

I’m slowly catching up with reading the blog posts I missed while I was gone. It’s a daunting task, frankly. Maybe I track too many?

I can’t wait to hear more about the hockey guy. What happened to McKilt?

Yeah, the tracking too many can be touch. Sometimes, though, you just gotta NOT catch up. Just pick it up where you feel like, you know?

    Welcome back, duderoo.
