8 (or more) Notes to Myself for later

Note (added at 8:10 a.m.): I wrote this last night. This morning I woke up with some balanced perceptions. This is what I call my “Tevye List” for it is rife with ‘on the other hand….’ sentiments.

Bottom line: This is my parking lot for over analysis stream of consciousness

Just a couple (admittedly vague) reminders myself for later, when I’m feeling blue.

  1. re-read saved emails from August 2007
  2. euphemisms are important to use when describing emotional reactions. Only in hindsight will you know how much could be read between the lines.
  3. someone actually wanted to rearrange a visitation schedule in order to spend time with you
  4. occasionally terms like “girlfriend” and “relationship” will slip into the conversation without anyone really knowing what that means and you were able to laugh about it…together. this is a good thing.
  5. silly is good when balanced with something you can count on
  6. Everybody is afraid of the same thing: abandonment, betrayal and rejection.
  7. Only the pathological psychotics begin a relationship intending to abandon, betray or reject
  8. You don’t know any pathological psychotics

edit Aug 19 8:10 a.m.: I love hormones! They give you such a wide perspective on a single topic from one day to the next! Here are a couple of other notes I should review:

  1. The country is nice to visit
  2. Young children are nice to visit
  3. Sports don’t have to be part of every conversation
  4. appreciating music is not the same as understanding it….or understanding you
  5. Having a crush, falling in lust (or anything else) does not require a long commitment so pull your head out and enjoy the moments. You’re not signing a 30 year mortgage!!!

Fight with yourself much? ;-) Me? No! Well, maybe a little.  ;-) I usually win, though.

Sometimes it’s good to get caught up in the moment. Isn’t that part of a great life?

You are so funny. Seeing you go through this sort of transformation. I have never seen this side of you before. It’s quite nice!
