An another unbelievable blessing

So all this time I’ve been kind of dreading going back to 40 (+!!!) hours a week of corporate work and worrying about how I’m going to do that and a social justice internship and be a single mother of two active teen-age boys and find time to make-out with Mr. Hockey. (Oh, yes. I was worrying about that! See, we have some priorities apparently.) Not to mention do other little things like laundry and grocery shopping.

And yesterday, I find out that the office space is so crowded at Future Corporate Halls of Conformity that LN said I’ll be sharing his office “…but mostly you could just office at home and just come in when you need to for a meeting. Kind of like you do now. Would that be OK?”

Until like November. Or whenever the construction of the new cube farm is complete.

OK?  You mean not fight ungodly traffic trying to squeeze over 3 little bridges when it used to zipp over the great and glorious 35W bridge? You mean not having to get up at 5:30 in the AM to get my kiddos on their way, my coffee made and drunk, my sit-ups (or whatever) done and a shower and “real” clothes put on and still being able to ‘be at work’  (in sweats, eating breakfast and listening to NPR) all by 8:00?

Ok. If I have to!

shoot. I’ve been thinking about going back for my masters. maybe not. I think I choose making out with Steam over school. Heh. (kidding, but I think about that too, when to make out with him)

As far as I’m concerned, making out should be a number one priority.
