Gonzales resigned this weekend. It’s announced and official.
Maybe I’m paranoid, but I’m getting a little worried about what they’re up to with all this “house cleaning.”

Have charges been brought? Have the subpoenas been answered in Congress? Is Cheney in jail?
No. Rove walked out, even though he pulled that stunt with Valerie Plame. Gonzales absolutely failed in his duties, which include appointing US Attorney’s without the slightest nod towards political agency (he used politics as a litmus test for firing, so he could hire).
And you saw Cheney’s little tirade about why we SHOULDN’T oust Hussein in ‘94, right? Let’s not forget that he claimed that the VPs office ain’t part of the executive branch.
What IS happening is that they are trying to weasel out of any REAL culpability.
