stupid old house
We had another storm come through this morning. It rained and blew with lightening lightning and thunder for over an hour. I don’t know maybe it rained longer than that. Libby the Wonder Poodle though she needed to go out (until she saw the rain- I told you!!!!!) but that gave me the chance to come downstairs at 3:30 in the blessed AM to learn that yes, this freakin’ 100 year old house is still effing leaking along the seam of the flat roof…(or somewhere!!!!!) that lets water come into my kitchen and tonight, not the bathroom but the through the new archway between the dining room and the bathroom.
Freaking awesome.
Part of me says stay up and clean it now and the other part says screw it, maybe it will dry by morning. Real morning, I mean. Not 4:00 A.M.
I think that second part of me wins. Wish me luck falling back asleep.
