Music Meme

Stole this from The Daily Bitch, who stole it from somebody else…and so on and so on. Help yourself.

Things that made my stomach flip today

1. your name on the caller ID
2. when I was talking about looking in the wall mirror to watch you back and front doing squats and you laughed and said “I love you!”
3. when you said you couldn’t wait to see me tomorrow night
4. when you said you were looking forward to taking me to [...]

I know I won’t get a second chance

but I saw the Guy’s Night of Dancing with the Stars.
You should know I’ve never made it through one of these reality talent shows. Not sure I paid as much attention to it as I would to say, House, M.D., but I have to say that some of it was really fun.
The preparation montage with [...]

$100 per child

Let me see if I understand this one.
Some guy in some think tank somewhere thinks that his reason for being is to design, manufacture and sell (to someone) and give away a $100 laptop for every child in undeveloped countries.
Because that’s what they need. More than clean water or adequate food. More than a malaria [...]

Actually, I make a lot more mistakes

You Scored an A

You got 10/10 questions correct. It’s pretty obvious that you don’t make basic grammatical errors.
If anything, you’re annoyed when people make simple mistakes on their blogs.
As far as people with bad grammar go, you know they’re only human.
And it’s humanity and its current condition that truly disturb you sometimes.

Is it weird?

I have been separated for 3 years (come Oct 4).
I have been officially divorced for almost 1 year (come Oct 13.)
Is it weird that one of the first things my mom asked my sister when my sister returned from the hospital after my grandmother had been moved up to her room after surgery was “Does [...]

failing infrastructure?

Not sure this is exactly what is meant by that phrase these days.
Mom’s surgery on Monday went well. It was potentially an artificial knee recall/replacement but turned out only to be the liner (artificial cartilage essentially) and so she was home Thursday and doing well.
Yesterday, my grandmother (her mother) tripped on a rug at her [...]
