Um, don’t freak, OK?
I won’t be posting this weekend as I have an unexpected (and completely marvelous) invitation to go out of town for the weekend.
My boys are with their dad. (They’ll have to check up on and spend some time with the dog because that is one big hole in my support system: my dog-loving friends that live close-by were lost in the custody battle of the divorce.)
His kids are with their mom. (This time is a bit contingent a relative of hers in Chicago not dying, necessitating an emergency trip without children for the funeral. So if you could send prayers, white light, healing….whatever to Mr. Hockey’s ex-aunt-in-law…that would be great.)
I think I’m pretty much leaving from work Friday with a stop at home for DS2 and a stop at DS1’s soccer game (and hand-off of DS2.)
Yeah. I know. Ass over teakettle. What can I say?
