Tuesday Truths
1. My lightbox came over the weekend. Yesterday (monday) I sat in front of it for approx 40 minutes at approx. 40 inches distance. I had a timer for 30 minutes but DS1 was in the shower when the time was up so I stayed in front of it. Also, I was reading Laurie’s book and near the end, so I finished it. I felt better yesterday but there are several other factors that could have played into that. First, the sun was out a lot of the day. Even though I only saw it through the heavily tinted windows, it makes a difference psychologically if not brain-chemical wise. Second, it could have been residual glowiness from the weekend. I will continue with the 30 minute regimen, moving closer gradually, and we’ll see how things continue.
2. Being clear about what you need in a relationship is a great idea. But also, it’s important to keep your eyes open and recognize when those things show up in your life.

it is amazing what the sun can do to “brighten” our day….

Sunshine and love. It sounds like a great combination. It was nice to see the sun, but no signs of a man in my world. Sigh.
