can’t sleep

tests are scheduled for Thursday at 10:30 but the follow-up isn’t until 12/10. I’m going to check with my primary clinic tomorrow and see if I can try a different follow-up. I don’t want to drag this on any longer than absolutely necessary.

It was nice today that a couple of hott men (and by hott I mean kind, sensitive, evolved and um, hott) called me to check up on what was going on. One was Mr. Hockey. The other one? You know who you are. And thanks. I know you second-guessed yourself as soon as the call went through, but it meant a lot.

I told the boys tonight at dinner that I would probably be having surgery in the next few weeks. They asked what for and I just said “some lady parts things” and they left it at that. Of course, later when I had to ask them three times to fold a basket of laundry and then they fought about it, I sort of lost my shit.

Understandable I suppose, but I still felt lousy about it the rest of the night. Mostly because they think it was actually about the flipping laundry.

Hang in there. I hope you can get the test results ASAP, but if there’s a delay I hope there will be a lot of nice things to distract you.

At least you have a good support system. Did they do an endo bx? I’ve heard those can be horribly uncomfortable. I hope it all goes okay. Keep us posted.
