seriously
It’s a deep freeze up here.
6 above zero with a wind chill of -7.
Last Tuesday’s snow still isn’t plowed completely and we’re getting more today. Although I’m glad I don’t live in Duluth. For many reasons. But my cousin who lives up there said they got 17″ on Tuesday.
Yesterday when I went to choir I pulled up to the curb and got stuck in the unplowed mess on the street. Didn’t even really make it to an offically “parked” position, but it was close enough to keep my trunk from being removed by the next car that came down the street, so I went in.
I asked SB if I could make an announcement at the end of choir. So I said I was stuck at the curb and couldn’t move forward or back and SW looked at me with a grin on her face and said “Well, we’ll pray for you then!”
I think we laughed for 5 minutes.
And then they pushed me out. (of course)
We had a quick rehearsal for the finale of Saturday’s concert after choir (and at a different location.) This was a rehearsal with the other group that’s sharing the concert with us. I have high hopes for this concert but I’m beginning to get worried that I’ll get a recording soon enough to use it for Neil’s Christmahanukwanzaakah concert. Maybe I’ll put up a little solo version and then add the concert file when I get it. (grrrr. more stress.)
The accumulation estimate today has been downgraded from 3-5″ to 1-2″. I hope that means Mr. Hockey won’t have any trouble getting into town in time for us to get a bite to eat before the play tonight.

Have fun on your date tonight. I hope the snow doesn’t mess with your fun.
