good news

Saw the Gyno today as followup to the ultrasounds a couple of weeks ago.

He doesn’t want to yank out the whole works. We’ll start with removing just the extra bits. Outpatient surgery. Scheduled for the 27th. Should keep me out of the broohaha on the 29th. “Very likely NOT cancer but we’ll do a biopsy just to be certain.”

Now, I’m just looking for someone to drive me to and from the hospital that morning as they won’t let me take a cab home. Boy, I wish DS1 had his license! Most of the people I’ve checked with so far are out of town the week between Christmas and New Years. Ah well. It’s early yet.

I am sorry you are going through this, glad it isnt a full on surgery and hope it doesnt become one, for you. Be safe and be well this holiday! Glad it isnt likely cancer.

Where are you? If I am anywhere nearby, I will drive you. You’ve gotta have someone to baby you and bring you yummy things to eat and warm blankets!

Yay! That’s good news (all things considered). And yes, avoidance of brouhaha is Absolutely Essential and Medically Necessary ;)
