I heart you all!

Work is, as I predicted, S.L.O.W.

So I had time to call around and find a new ride for tomorrow (JRM, another nurse friend — I seem to know a lot of nurses.) And time to get a couple of people to sign as witnesses to my signature of a health care directive (because I had one that was witnessed but one of the people was one of the named agents, and I guess you’re not supposed to it that way. Oops! Lord knows we wouldn’t want the scandal of SB being accused of forcing me to make her my agent so she could have the power and joy of dealing with my family if something goes horrible.) (and yes, sarcasm is on special today apparently.)

I am generally a tender-hearted person and all of the offers from my blogosphere friends have really touched me and make my eyes leak a little bit when I think about it too long! And now I am so NOT being sarcastic. I am well aware I am of the number of people here and IRL who would step up to be here for me….if ya’ll weren’t 250+ miles away. ;-)

I’m now going to spend the afternoon checking up on the rest of you and commenting until IT comes and turns off my internet.

And I will update as soon as I reasonably can tomorrow or Friday.

I’m so glad you found a ride. Take your time and only write when you feel like it, but I’ll be checking in to make sure you’re okay.
