IVs aren’t my favorite part

I’m remembering most everything. Mostly because the first IV didn’t go in correctly so the happy juice they gave me before wheeling me into the O.R. just pooled up into my forearm.

But everybody at the hospital was so nice and caring. The recovery room nurse even held my hand for a little bit when I asked. And I didn’t cry very much when I woke up. Which makes me wonder a bit about what general anesthesia does for a person.

And reading this I’m realizing that I”m not really all clear of the pain medicine or the anesthesia.

More coherent stories later. Maybe?

Glad you are back. When do you have to go back in for a check up?

Damn, dude. That’s a harrowing description. Glad you’re okay… but so sorry you had to have that happen.
