draggin’ my wagon

dragging-sled.jpg

Didn’t get home until 7:00 p.m. last night. I had sent a few text messages back and forth with DS1 but still there was nothing made for dinner. And he had taken a container of spaghetti out of the freezer maybe 3 minutes before I walked in the door. So we didn’t eat until after 8.

I went to bed at 9:00 because I was just exhausted.

Today will probably be another like that.

I keep trying to put one foot in front of the other. Just work on the next item on the to-do list and don’t obsess about how freaking long and impossible the whole list is.

But it really feels like the dead of winter around here and all I really feel I’m doing well is staring off into the distance. And sleeping.

There’s nothing bad going on. No drama. No crisis. It’s just feels too hard.

So, off I go to fake it ’til I make it. Good luck ya’ll.

Getting through winter can be tough for some. My girlfriend gets really down this time of year. It can be tough….

Maybe warmer weather is in order?
