Yes, I know

It’s Saturday. Time for a photo scavenger. But I’m not done yet. And today was given over to everyone else. Distler rehearsal from 9-11. Then a quick (drive-thru…ugh) lunch. Then drive to west St. Paul (about 15-20 miles) to a read through session for my friend DL, who has 5 pieces for a festival accordion orchestra. We were supposed to start at 1:00. I was there even a little early. She (and the rest) were of course 20 minutes late. So that went until 3:00. One day, I’ll learn to say “Sounds like fun, but I can’t make it.”

Came home with another migraine. I can’t decide if it’s a reaction from the antibiotic I’m taking (a common side-effect for this one, apparently) or because of the new glasses or because of stress. Doesn’t matter. Two migraines in two days is two too many. Slept for an hour with an ice-pack and then got up and went to the grocery store.

DS2 has decided to have friends over for the game tomorrow. And I hadn’t thawed anything for dinner. So, off to the grocery I went. Came home and cooked and then, we all sat down to watch a movie. “War of the Worlds” was on broadcast TV, so we put the DVD in. Now I’m watching “The Ghost and Mrs. Muir” on PBS. Gene Tierney and Rex Harrison. mmmmm

Found this little quiz at DCup’s place. Have fun with it.

You’re Watership Down!

by Richard Adams

Though many think of you as a bit young, even childish, you’re
actually incredibly deep and complex. You show people the need to rethink their
assumptions, and confront them on everything from how they think to where they
build their houses. You might be one of the greatest people of all time. You’d
be recognized as such if you weren’t always talking about talking rabbits.

I hate it that you have migraines. Such physical cruelty. I’m glad the quiz was a fun thing to do. I did it a couple of times and got some fun answers.

Be well! And thanks for the link.

    You inspired a blog post.

I hope this stress and schedule dies down soon.

    You’re Cat’s Cradle!

You believe quite firmly that free will deserted you long ago and far away. As a result, it’s hard to take responsibility for anything. Even though you show great potential as a leader of a small 3rd world country, the choices are all made ahead of time. You’re rather fond of games involving string. Your fear of nuclear weaponry is trumped only by your fear of ice.

I have never had a migraine (knock on wood). It sounds horrible and no one should have to have so many!
