link love

DCup mentioned that Technorati and some other ranking types of sites don’t count blogroll links but do count links in posts. On the chance that some of my regular reads care about that sort of thing, I’m following her lead and making a post of my blogroll so that the link “counts” for these sites. Since we’re not all Dooce or DailyKos it could be a deal.

I recommend you check them out. I don’t agree with all of them. In fact some of them I track just so that they make me think by presenting the alternate view. But I’ll be honest. There’s not a lot of those, because usually I don’t need my blood-pressure raised all that much.

Plus by doing this today, it keeps me from writing another whiny pity-party post (and I’m not even feeling like I want to, but still…)

If you link to me and aren’t on my list here, let me know in the comments and I’ll fix that right up.

Oh! and if you haven’t had a chance, you could still go over here and nominate me for a blog make-over (and get a nomination for yourself in the process!) Leave a comment on any post saying you nominate me and they’ll add you to the nominations too. At the end of the month they’re drawing two names for make-overs. Fringes and Q (the proprietors) are hysterically funny so, read a few posts to get a flavor. I think you might end up adding them to your blogroll!

Share the love. We’re all in this together.

I love honesty….I do not always agree with what I read, but I just cannot get my blood pressure up any more. Must have come with age.

Thanks for the link love. I hope things get better and you find your real love. He’s out there, he might just be shy.

I think, really, that it’s the other way around, that a hyperlink (meaning the one on the sidebar, or blogroll) counts for plenty. But who knows.

Anyway, thanks for linking me to you, and I’ll mention in in my February back’acha’, see what others have to say. :)

Ah, NFH, yes. I try to post every day, and it has been difficult, lately, not to post of the euphoria when I think there is hope and the desolation when I think there’s not. I’ve been keeping track of you and Ramblin’ Girl, too, because of the unusual coincidence of romantic destruction going on.

I think it is simple cowardice. People, in general, are as cowardly about causing others pain as they are about incurring it themselves. It hurts to be the bearer of bad news, at least to any of the people I might be remotely interested in spending time with.

Hang in there. Time heals, yada, yada.

    Betty
