what is that noise?

I had to break the Blog365 day of rest to record this moment.

I’ve been working at home today (second day this week. details later) and the boys have been home from school for end of term break.

Mostly they’ve been keeping to themselves upstairs while I’ve been working hard (no really!) on writing a bunch of stuff for work.

Just now, I heard the noise of a small engine. Hmm. I think to myself, that hairdryer sounds funny. I wonder if he’s using the one that needs to get thrown out. And then I thought, gee, he took a shower several hours ago, why is he drying his hair now.

Then the motor switched on for a longer time and I finally realized what it was.

He’s using the vacuum cleaner!!

    What’s up with that?

    What mess did he make?

What is he trying to cover up?

Sorry. Not trying to be a kill joy, but my mothering instincts went into high gear.

Other than that, congrats on a clean floor. heh

Cricket- Oh! don’t think I didn’t think all those things! Turns out the GF has been giving him a hard time about his messy room and threatened to help him clean it. So he cleaned it before she came over. I think *I* might be in love! ;-)

He actually did a pretty nice job of it too.

Whoa. Cricket burst my bubble, too. Glad he’s cleaning for a good reason, after all.

Although, the only thing I could imagine spilling (and needing to hide the spill) is drugs… and lord knows, I would NEVER have vacuumed up drugs!

Ask him if he’s willing to run a webinar on the basics of vacuuming. I’ve got three who would be enrolled immediately.
