I’m tired of trying so hard and still having it not be “enough.”

Don’t worry about everyone else, at least for the time being. Is it enough for you? That is where it matters.

Laura B. stole my sentiment. Just because it may not be “enough” for others doesn’t mean it’s not enough for you. You can please some of the people some of the time but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.

    Dear Not FH,

And then there is the age old question…when is enough…ENOUGH!!!

The weekend is still miles of days away. The chick flick night appeals to me, but I’ve seen so many movies, I wonder how many chick flicks are left that I haven’t seen? Curled up on a comfy couch, though, with three best girlfriends, all equipped with three dirty jokes a piece, my own shaker of cosmopolitans, and sumptious munchies, would seem to be the cure for almost anything that might ail a 40 something single mom…it would at least get me through another weekend in the land of being single.

    Sending you strength,

    Betty

I have some existential questions: What is enough? Is enough, enough? When is enough achieved? When enough has been reached, will you know it?

When you get a chance, email me and let me know how you are and what’s going on. I haven’t had a chance to get a hold of you lately. Hope you are well.

    Agreed: enough for who, exactly?

    Or is that whom?

    I dunno.

Sometimes it’s enough just to breathe air in and out and do what you can. You know?
