Saturday Phot Scavenger: uh….

“I’m Dreaming of a White Easter?”

March snow never lasts long. Spring will really come. Eventually.

When I went to bed last night around 11:30, I thought we were done with the snow. But I awoke to find another couple of inches freshly fallen. It’s heavy and wet and sticks to everything.

And, no. For the record, I DON’T think this means global climate change is a hoax. This is what March was always like in Minnesota. We haven’t had it for about 10 years.

That doesn’t necessarily make it easier to take. Or shovel.

On the other hand, like most March snows, once you’ve scraped off most of the bulk from the sidewalks, the intensity of the sun, even through the clouds, quickly melts things down to the cement.

And the water content will help lake levels. Not too much of a risk of flooding up here this year (sorry! neighbors in the Southern states!)

I have no idea what the Saturday Photo Scavenger word is this week. But check out the links on the right anyway. they’re always interesting!

Those photos are beautiful and could actually work for this week’s word, which is PERFECT. Don’t you think those could be perfect snow pictures? I do.

Not exactly the perfect Easter forecast. Our snow started melting almost immediately. It was cold but sunny on Saturday and Sunday.
