Sticky, Sloppy and Cold

My Wild Snowy rose

If only it really were an April’s Fool  Joke. As I’ve said before, the good thing about March snow is that you are certain that it won’t last long. April snow is even shorter lived.

That doesn’t change the fact that we’ve had snow on the ground now for over 4 months straight. That’s a long winter, yo.

Hope your salt is salty and your sugar is sweet today!

I come from a place that measures “spring” in inches as well. We might dodge this bullet and just get rain.

It was almost sixty degrees here yesterday. I ran in shorts and long sleeve t-shirt and was still too hot. Today our windchill is 19 degrees and it’s flurrying. Why did I choose to live in Iowa?

Love the glimpse at the neighborhood. Used to own a traditional four square like those. Love a neighborhood with character, even if it’s under powder!
